• Gaza’s Health Ministry records 13 deaths, including three children, “due to starvation and malnutrition over the past 24 hours”, bringing the total number of hunger-related deaths to 361, 130 of them children.
• At least 105 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since dawn, including 53 in Gaza City, according to medical sources speaking to Al Jazeera.
• Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot has announced Belgium will recognise the Palestinian state at the United Nations General Assembly later this month, and is imposing sanctions on Israel.
• Palestinians continue to flee advancing Israeli forces in Gaza City, where about one million people were sheltering, even though there is no safe place left for them to go.
• Israel has killed at least 63,633 people and wounded 160,914 in its war on Gaza. A total of 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led October 7, 2023 attacks, and about 200 were taken captive.
