- Hamas says that negotiations over the fate of the Gaza ceasefire have resumed in Qatar’s capital, Doha.
- Yemen’s Houthis say they will resume targeting ships linked to Israel after issuing an ultimatum last week demanding Israel resume aid to Gaza.
- Israeli attacks have killed at least six people in central and southern Gaza, while four people, including an elderly woman, killed in the occupied West Bank.
- Qatar and Jordan say Israel is aiming to “impose starvation” on Gaza by tightening its siege, and cutting the only remaining power line to the territory, used to operate a desalination plant.
- Gaza’s Health Ministry has confirmed at least 48,503 Palestinians have been killed and 111,927 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza. Gaza’s Government Media Office has updated its death toll to more than 61,700, saying thousands of Palestinians missing under the rubble are presumed dead. At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the October 7, 2023, attacks and more than 200 were taken captive.
