- Medical sources say more than 40 people have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza, the majority in the territory’s north where a devastating siege continues for an 18th day.
- The Israeli army says it killed Hezbollah official Hashem Safieddine in an air strike earlier this month. Safieddine was touted to be the group’s next chief.
- Gaza’s Government Media Office says Israeli forces have prevented entry of “more than a quarter of a million trucks of aid and goods” since the war on the besieged territory began.
- According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 115 Palestinians were killed and 487 wounded in the latest 48-hour reporting period.
- In Gaza, at least 42,718 people have been killed and 100,282 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023. An estimated 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks on October 7, and more than 200 were taken captive.
