- At least one person has been killed, and several others were wounded as a Russian missile hit a police building in the city of Kryvyi Rih, according to Ukraine’s interior minister.
- Russian air attacks have also killed at least three people in Kherson, Ukrainian officials say.
- Russian authorities are holding local elections in annexed parts of Ukraine; Kyiv and its Western allies dismiss the votes as a sham.
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russian leader Vladimir Putin was responsible for the death of the Wagner mercenary boss Yevgeny Prigozhin, who died in a plane crash last month.
- Kyiv has accused Elon Musk of indirectly allowing Russian forces to attack Ukrainian cities, after it was revealed his Starlink satellite communications interfered with a drone operation.
