- Moscow says it scrambled two fighter jets to intercept two United States reconnaissance drones near the Crimean Peninsula.
- At least three people were killed in an overnight Russian missile attack on Ukraine’s central Poltava region, local officials said. Russian shelling also killed one person in Kherson.
- A 60-year-old Russian-born Swedish citizen has been charged in Stockholm with collecting information for Russia’s military intelligence service.
- Russia says its air defences destroyed a drone approaching Moscow, forcing authorities to suspend air traffic at two of the city’s main airports – the second time in a week.
- Russia’s Ministry of Defence said air defences destroyed two other drones over the Bryansk region bordering Ukraine.
