- Two missiles struck a crowded area in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk on Tuesday, killing four people and injuring 42 according to Ukrainian police.
- Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who quelled recent feuding between the Wagner Group of mercenaries and the Russian leadership, confirmed Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin has arrived in Belarus.
- President Vladimir Putin has thanked Russia’s army and security services for averting a “civil war” at the weekend when faced with Wagner’s mutiny.
- Despite the gravity of the rebellion, Russia has dropped a criminal case against Wagner and said the group will transfer its heavy weapons to Moscow’s forces.
- At least two people have been killed in Russian attacks in the Zaporizhia and Donetsk regions, according to Ukrainian officials.
