- After a years-long investigation by Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James, United States President Donald Trump and his company are accused of lying about their assets in financial statements.
- Trump called the trial a “witch hunt” as he arrived in the courtroom for the first day of proceedings. Trump said on Sunday that he would be voluntarily attending.
